On World Humanitarian Day, we recall the values of solidarity and giving and humanity, and renew our pledge to stand by our people no matter how severe the hardships.
Despite the bombardment, destruction, and siege, Youth Vision Society has remained steadfast in northern Gaza. We never abandoned our posts, nor did we leave our people alone.
From the very first days of the war, Youth Vision stood alongside displaced and affected families, extending a helping hand, offering as much support and assistance as possible, and keeping its doors open to everyone in need.
Today, we remember our team members whom we lost during this war: Doaa Al-Masri, Israa Abu Foul, and Odai Al-EjEl.
This day reminds the world of the importance of humanitarian work, but for us in Gaza, we live it day by day with tears, sweat, and determination to survive.
And despite all the hardships, Youth Vision Society continues to this very moment to provide aid and stand by its people, affirming that humanitarian work is not a passing occasion, but a message of life and resilience.
